Sonic Christmas Parade

       Santa Claus is coming to Lafayette! 

The official arrival of Santa to Lafayette will take place on Sunday, December 4th in the annual Sonic Christmas Parade.  The parade will begin this year at 1:00pm in downtown Lafayette at the Jefferson Street underpass and will conclude in the Oil Center.  Santa is certainly the star of this event, but there will also be floats, high school marching bands and dance clubs.  The Sonic floats will be throwing 10,000 wooden nickels that can be redeemed for a free Route 44 drink.  Kids should bring their letters to Santa to the parade where they will be collected and mailed to the North Pole.  The Sonic Christmas Parade, a perfect opportunity to get into the holiday spirit.
